Best time to visit Cuba: month by month
Short answer
November to April is the dry season and the best time to visit, with highs of about 27–31°C and around 8–10 rainy days a month. May to October is hotter and more humid (about 31–33°C) with heavy afternoon rain, and the hurricane season peaks from August to October.

March and April are hot and dry at about 29–31°C; May brings the start of the rains, with about 18 rainy days.
Summer (Jun–Aug)
Hot and humid: highs of about 31–33°C and 18–21 rainy days a month, usually in afternoon storms. Santiago de Cuba's carnival is in July.
Autumn (Sep–Nov)
September and October are still wet and at peak hurricane risk; November turns drier at around 29°C.
Winter (Dec–Feb)
The best weather: highs of about 27–29°C, lows around 19–21°C and only 8–9 rainy days. Peak season with the highest prices.
