TonyPlan is built and run by Tony Panopoulos, who has worked for years at a travel agency in Greece, organising tours and individual trips and answering the same questions travellers ask every day: how many days, where to stay, what to book ahead. TonyPlan is an independent, self-funded project. There is no investor and no big team behind it, and you can reach the person who runs it through the contact page.
The How many days itineraries (from October 2026) are drafted with AI assistance, then fact-checked and corrected: real neighbourhoods, walking times and opening days, prices marked as approximate with the date they were last updated, and the official sites to confirm them on. Older pages on the site were drafted with AI assistance and are being reviewed and rewritten one by one. The trip planner at /app uses AI and says so. If you find a mistake, tell us and we fix it.
Some links on TonyPlan are partner links, marked as such on every page that has them. If you book a hotel, tour, transfer, eSIM or travel insurance through them, the provider may pay us a commission, and the price you pay is the same. Current partners include Booking.com (through the CJ network), GetYourGuide, Viator, DiscoverCars and providers in the Travelpayouts network. Partners do not see or approve what we write. That is all: we do not sell your data.
Most trip planning fails in the same place: you have twenty tabs open, three of them contradict each other, and none of them knows your dates or your budget. Tony reads the whole thing as one request and answers with a plan you can book — not a list of links to read later.
Planning is free and unlimited, with no card and no time limit. That is not a promotion: we earn from booking commissions when a plan turns into a real trip, so a paywall in front of the planning would work against us. Flight price alerts, the PDF download and the planner itself are free for everyone.
