Short answer
The best times are March to June and September to November, with highs of about 18–28°C. Summer is hot and humid (31°C) but great for the beach, while winter is mild at 16–18°C; Las Fallas in March is spectacular but crowded and expensive.

Spring (Mar–May)
Highs rise from 18°C in March to 23°C in May. March has the most rain (about 10 days) and Las Fallas (15–19 March).
Summer (Jun–Aug)
Hot and humid: highs of 28–31°C and lows of 19–23°C, with little rain. Beach season; the July Fair brings concerts and fireworks.
Autumn (Sep–Nov)
September (28°C) and October (25°C) are warm and good for the beach; November cools to 21°C. Autumn can bring heavy rain episodes.
Winter (Dec–Feb)
Mild and fairly dry, with highs of 16–18°C and lows of 6–9°C. Quiet and cheap.
