Short answer
December to April is the dry, sunny season, with highs of about 28–30°C and the fewest rainy days, but also the most expensive. May to November is hotter and wetter with short afternoon showers, and rates fall by 30–50%; hurricane season runs from June to November, peaking in August to October.
