Best time to visit Fiji: month by month
Short answer
May to October is the dry season, with highs of 28-29°C, lower humidity and only about 5-13 rainy days a month, the best time for snorkelling and island-hopping. November to April is hot (30-31°C), humid and wet, with 15-29 rainy days, and is cyclone season, but resort prices drop. School holidays in Australia and New Zealand make July and late September busiest.

Spring (Mar-May)
Rain eases from about 22 rainy days in March to 13 in May; highs of 29-30°C. May is an excellent shoulder month.
Summer (Jun-Aug)
The driest months, with highs of 28°C, lows of 21°C and 5-8 rainy days. Peak season, especially July.
Autumn (Sep-Nov)
29-30°C and mostly dry in September and October (10-12 rainy days); rain returns in November.
Winter (Dec-Feb)
Hot and humid at 29-31°C, with 25-29 rainy days and the highest cyclone risk. Low season except Christmas.
