When it is cheaper

How to spend less
- Use the numbered minibuses from the St George's terminal instead of taxis.
- Eat at Gouyave Fish Friday and local rum shops instead of resort restaurants.
- Buy spices, cocoa balls and nutmeg at the Market Square, not hotel shops.
- Snorkel from shore at Grand Anse and Morne Rouge before paying for boat trips.
- Take the Osprey ferry to Carriacou rather than flying.
