Budget travellers stay in guesthouses in St George's, above the harbour and near the market and minibus terminal, at about EC$220-350 for a double. A few apartments near Grand Anse and Lance aux Épines also offer good value with kitchens.

Getting around cheaply

Minibuses cost EC$2.50-10 per ride on numbered routes, flagged down anywhere. From the airport, taxis cost about EC$45-55 to Grand Anse; minibuses also pass on the main road nearby.
