Budget travellers stay in hostels and apartments in Śródmieście Południowe and Praga, close to trams and the metro, at about zł 200-350 a double; dorm beds start around zł 60-90.

Getting around cheaply

A 24-hour ticket covers all metro, trams, buses and city trains for about zł 15. From Chopin Airport, the S2 and S3 trains or bus 175 reach the centre in about 20-30 minutes on a city ticket. Modlin Airport has a shuttle bus and train link.
