Short answer

April to June and September to October are the best months, with coastal highs of 23-30°C and little rain. July and August are hot and humid on the coast (about 31°C) but pleasant in the mountains. Winter brings coastal rain (10-15 rainy days a month) and snow in the mountains for skiing.
