Best time to visit Berlin: month by month
Short answer
May to September is the best time, with average highs of about 19–25°C, long evenings, open-air cinemas and lake swimming. Summer is busy but Berlin rarely feels as packed as Paris or Rome. Winter is cold and grey (highs of about 4–6°C, with 11–16 rainy days a month), but cheap and good for museums and Christmas markets.
