The best time is February to April, when highs are 20–23°C, the sea is at its warmest and the January holiday crowds have gone. December and January are peak summer with highs of 22–23°C and the busiest, priciest weeks. Winter (June–August) is mild at 15–16°C but has the most rainy days.
