Getting around cheaply
The metro (about R$7–8) links Ipanema, Copacabana, Botafogo and Centro. Uber and 99 are cheap for short trips. From Galeão airport, the BRT and buses are cheapest but slower; Uber takes 40–60 minutes to the beaches.
