Common questions
Can you visit Lofoten on a budget?
It is possible with self-catering, shared cabins and free hikes. Plan on about NOK 1,350 a day.
Can I visit Lofoten without a car?
Partly. Buses run on the E10 but rarely, and boats run in summer. A car gives far more flexibility.
Is the tap water safe in Lofoten?
Yes. It is safe and excellent, so fill your bottle and save money.
