Best time to visit Trinidad and Tobago: month by month
Short answer
The dry season, January to May, is the best time, with highs of about 30–31°C and 13–17 rainy days a month, mostly short showers. Carnival falls on the Monday and Tuesday before Ash Wednesday (February or early March), when hotels book out and prices soar. June to December is the wet season, with heavier showers; the islands sit south of the main hurricane belt, but storms are possible.
