How to get from Kalamata to Mani
The Mani is a region, not a single town: from Kalamata the road south reaches Kardamyli in about 45 min, Stoupa in about 1 h and Areopoli in about 1 h 30. A car is by far the best way to explore. A few KTEL buses a day run from Kalamata down the coast.
Best option: Car. Buses are infrequent and the Mani’s villages, towers and coves are spread out along winding roads.
