How to get from Halkidiki to Thassos
Drive from Halkidiki to Keramoti (about 2 h 30 to 3 h on the Egnatia Odos motorway) and take the ferry to Limenas, Thassos, about 35–40 minutes. Alternatively, drive to Kavala and take the ferry to Prinos, about 1 h 15. By public transport, the trip involves KTEL buses via Thessaloniki and Kavala.
Best option: Car. Driving to Keramoti and taking the short car ferry is the quickest route, and a car is useful on Thassos.
