Cookie policy
TonyPlan uses very little: a few items in your browser's storage so the site remembers your choices, and analytics only if you allow it. Last updated 2 October 2026.
What we store
| Name | Type | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| tp_cookies, tp_cookies_date | Browser storage (TonyPlan) | Remembers your cookie choice | Until you clear it |
| tp_lang, tp_cur | Browser storage (TonyPlan) | Remembers your language and currency | Until you clear it |
| tp_session, tp_plans, tp_itin | Browser storage (TonyPlan) | Keeps you signed in and stores trips you save in the planner | Until you sign out or clear it |
| tp_i18n_* | Browser storage (TonyPlan) | Caches page translations so pages load faster | Until you clear it |
| _ga, _ga_* | Cookie (Google Analytics) | Anonymous visit statistics. Only set if you click "Accept all"; by default consent is denied | Up to 2 years |
| Travelpayouts (tpembars.com) | Script from our affiliate network | Adds our partner ID to some travel links so a booking can be credited to us | Set by the partner |
Our own visit counter
To see which pages and partner links are useful, the site sends an anonymous event to our own server when a page is viewed or a partner link is clicked. It stores no cookie and no IP address: the visitor key is a one-way hash that changes every day.
Partner sites
When you click a partner link (for example Booking.com, GetYourGuide or Viator), you leave TonyPlan, and that site sets its own cookies under its own policy. That is how a booking is credited to us. The price you pay is the same.
How to change your choice
