Tenerife South Airport (TFS) to Tenerife
TITSA public buses link Tenerife South with the southern resorts, Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz for a few euros. Taxis reach Los Cristianos or Las Américas in about 20 minutes.
Tenerife has two airports. Tenerife South (TFS) handles most international holiday flights and is closest to the southern resorts; this page covers it.
Best for most people: Taxi. For the southern resorts the taxi ride is short, fairly priced and drops you at your hotel; buses are cheaper but may need a change.

- Tenerife North (TFN), near La Laguna and about 10 km from Santa Cruz, mainly for flights to mainland Spain and the other Canary Islands; best for Santa Cruz, La Laguna and Puerto de la Cruz.
Tips
- Check which airport you fly into: Tenerife North and South are about an hour apart.
- For Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos and Las Américas a taxi costs little more than two bus tickets for a couple.

Yes. TITSA buses stop outside Arrivals, with line 111 going to Santa Cruz and line 343 to Puerto de la Cruz, plus services to the southern resorts. Fares are a few euros. Buses run less often in the evening, so check the last departure.
