Can I do Mérida as a day trip from Cancún?
It is possible but not ideal: about 4 h each way leaves only a few hours in the city. Most visitors spend at least a night or two, or combine Mérida with Valladolid, Chichén Itzá and Izamal on a route across the Yucatán.
