In summer, beaches and small resorts around the town of Sevan fill with families from Yerevan, and the lake is cool enough for refreshing swims. Lakeside restaurants serve local fish such as Sevan trout and whitefish, often grilled or baked, along with crayfish. The best time to visit is June to September, when days are warm and sunny, although the views are beautiful in every season.
